Still Moving Inside Me continues Tatiana Macedo’s exploration of the place of the moving-image devoid of text or narrator, the tension between movement, stillness and sound - actions and gestures that cross the plane, challenging its limits or being defined by them. Although very painterly, the images move us through the world or it is the life within the image that moves inside it. In the moment of capture, artist and image are one - being present, devoting time and attention to that which unfolds before her eyes: this is the artist's statement and manifesto against a fast-paced world of consumer driven images, apathy and forceful capitalist production.
